Frankie (Cur, Shepherd)
Blind Frankie has had a tough, mean life that no critter should ever experience. Healed bite marks remain, where the fur doesn’t yet grow, reminding you that this blind boy has suffered so much, perhaps as a bait dog to fighters. That said, Frankie is SO not a broken dog – on the contrary, Frankie is a beaming, positive, very happy dog and it’s a pleasure to see the joy almost bursting out of him now! Frankie REALLY likes being gently caressed, having his ears and face and fur petted and he’ll lean up to you and much likes being hugged and held.
Frankie is HW+ and has completed the 100% effective slow-kill method Doxycyclene protocol; now simply give him HW preventative monthly (we will provide 18 months worth - easy!) Frankie is otherwise totally healthy and he’s beefed up to a rock-solid 70lbs. Frankie is neutered and UTD on all shots. Frankie's fur is now so soft and smooth and much fun to pet. Frankie is totally house-broken, is learning to walk well on a leash, loves being inside or out, enjoys the yard and wind and walking and napping in the pen. Frankie seems amused at the new experience of having his own “things” like toys and rawhides and bones – oh, Frankie is a master at burying bones! He’ll dig a hole, place the bone in, then cover perfectly smooth with his snout and you’ll not know anything is there. Too funny this sweet, tough boy Frankie is ... and Frankie LOVES kids, even little toddlers!
Frankie’s perfect Furever Home? A place of much love, with humans that understand the abuse this boy Frankie has endured, and value how Frankie has overcome that to become this loving and joyful doggie that Frankie is today. Frankie needs a Furever Home and family of his own; provide that and in return you will have the most loyal, appreciative and loving doggie ever – Frankie!
Medium energy level, medium-large size, 4-5 yo, very loving, good with adults & loves kids, good with most dogs (not Alpha males), avoids cats, house-trained, healthy, great appetite, very positive personality - Frankie.
Frankie Fun Facts: Scrath his back rear and Frankie's rear legs lock stiff! Frankie loves to charge into the tall grass beside the big fields here; Frankie loves having his 'safe place' and finding his bone there after each day in the huge pen #2; Frankie loves Dad but he's a real Mama's Boy; Frankie steals Mama's shoes whenever possible and even tries to take them off her feet sometimes!

Phyllis walks well on leash though does not need one as she stays near and obeys commands - oh, Phyllis also knows sit, down, dance and others! Phyllis is a super smart girl, HW negative, UTD with all shots, spayed, and though found with horrible matting, eye and ear infections, covered with fleas and ticks, today Phyllis is very healthy, just had a non-cancerous mammary growth removed, has dry eye (drops twice daily), has her fur growing back beautifully and Phyllis - though slightly impaired - both hears and sees well. Phyllis only needs her own Furever Home; and if you'd like a cute doggie to cuddle with, have a tight bond, always smile at her delightful antics, have your home lighted up by a delightful girl, well Phyllis would be perfect. If you are the one for Phyllis, you will be totally and loyally loved in return!

Buttercup - Buddha Ballerina (pittie pit bull)
Blind Buttercup has had everything go wrong in her life until now: blind, used as a bait dog to fighters, bred non-stop, cramped in the tiniest crate in a 'sanctuary' that when closed just turned her loose to be attacked and bitten. When wife Val went to rescue Buttercup she found an emaciated, ear and eye infected, with an open facial bite wound, depressed doggie ... not any more!!
