Adam (aka Tex) and Red head for Home! 

Welcome to "Tex and Red head for 'Home!'"  a brief photo journey of one of the transport legs taking these wonderful dogs from kill shelter to their next destinations.  For Red that is a wonderful Forever Home, for Tex a caring Foster then hopefully soon a loving Forever Home.

Tex has likely experienced much ugliness in  his short life yet he still trusts and is gentle and loving.  The human fortunate enough to provide Tex his Forever Home will know what it feels like to enjoy Tex's unconditional love.  Tex is a fabulous dog with a big heart!

Red is a real sweetie, very playful and affectionate; she'll provide Larry a lifetime of love and companionship.

These dogs are precious; EVERY animal is precious, a blessing from God, and each and every one deserves a loving home. 

All of the dogs and cats at kill shelters are hours away from death.  For too many their fate is to be killed; as my friend Dave says, "Judged by no jury for a crime they never committed and executed while innocent."

Thanks for saving Red and Tex.  May we go forth to save the rest and find each and every cat and dog a  loving Forever Home.  :-)

1 Tex and Red were delivered to us by their wonderful friends Carol and Alan

2 Tex and Red were obviously already good buddies as well as travelling companions

4 Tex got in the van and contemplated sleep 5 While Red went hunting for adventure
 

6 Tex settled into a coma-like deep sleep

8 Once awake, Tex settled in as copilot

9 While Red served as navigator

10 Of course Red returned to seeking new experiences

11 While affectionate Tex loved all the chin-alizing we would give

12 Tex then decided on a final nap
Soon we delived Tex and Red to their next transport friend, kind Diane, and they continued on their journey HOME!"

13 While at our home our dogs awaited.  Doodles (blind from PRA) believes all animals deserve a loving forever home
