 Once upon a time a beautiful little white furball was born, half Husky and half Australian Shepherd.  Over the next few years this little girl grew up tough, lost her right rear leg and became blind in both eyes, was turned in to the shelter, adopted out, then found herself unwanted again after biting the family rabbit - something every one of our doggies would do.

With humans Brody is a total love,  she so enjoys attention and interaction, petting and loving and gives great kisses.  Brody is also very smart and ALWAYS happy with her beautiful tail high in joy.  Brody is house-trained, walks perfectly on leash, has the most beautiful thick fur, is totally healthy and UTD on shots/preventatives, and has an amazing ability to "map" areas so rarely bumps in to things.  Brody sails up and down stairs and loves walks, playing outside, her chewies and squeakies, cuddling up with you, eating and sleeping.

Brody is missing a leg and her vision yet she is not handicapped - Brody is ALWAYS happy and positive. ADOPTED!!  :-) Houdini (Walker Hound)

Houdini is literally "that dog don't hunt" and so was dumped by his hunter owner and found us starving.  Houdini is aptly named and helps so much by reaching the 'hurt' doggies like Hippy, Annie and so many others.  Houdini is a 2yo Treeing Walker Coon Hound, fully healthy, HW negative, neutered and UTD on all shots.  Houdini loves other doggies, so enjoys attention and is afraid of storms.  Houdini is house-trained, walks well on leash, does not shed and is a beautiful, sweet and delightful doggie.  Houdini needs his own family and Furever Home - is that you?  Houdini is loyal and will love you forever.  :-)~

ADOPTED!!  :-) Peanut (Chi, Rat Terrier)

Peanut was a neighbor's dog until run over and broken apart.  Auburn University performed surgery to repair a badly broken right-rear leg and shattered into 20+ pieces left-rear pelvis.   Peanut is just healed up, loves to play, pilfer toys, boss around big dogs, race like the wind, always be happy and give and get plenty of loving, is neutered, HW negative and UTD on all shots.  Peanut is small at 14lbs, jumps like a spring, and keeps us always laughing at his funny, smart, positive attitude.  Peanut will bless his Furever Home with his beautiful personality.  :-)~

Miracle's Peke and Chi Puppies!

On April 18, 2011 wife Val returned from the failed Lewiston FL 'Sanctuary' with 6 blind and/or special needs doggies, none sicker than Miracle, a blind and skinny Pekingese girl with terrible eye and ear infections, the mange, covered in feces and urine, coughing and weak and sick... and so very loving. 2 days later Miracle gave forth a miracle:birth to 4 beautiful pups. Destiny died soon after never able to absorb nutrients and became Guardian Angel to her brother and sisters: Jason, Hope and True.

Miracle was the best of Mamas from Day 1, and with extra special diet, she healed and grew strong, and simultaneously provided much milk and loving to her babies, all 3 surviving pups growing up healthy, happy and playful and so beautiful. Now all seek Furever Homes ... with you perhaps?

These puppies will be small doggies, likely +/- 20lbs (True perhaps smaller). have had all shots, microchipped, spay/neuter, play outside in the day, cage/crate trained at night, very athletic and smart. Mama Miracle is a delightful, mellow and very loving girl and these puppies have her personality though are of course higher energy nowas pups. We've begun leash training, they rarely potty inside, eat raw and kibble, and are healthy, happy and loving, kiss-giving little pups.

Jason is the 1st born, biggest and most mellow, with long hair and a beautiful kiss-giving personality. Hope is likely the most loving, very athletic and so very beautiful. True is the runt yet the fastest and most athletic, a sweet and sassy girl full of life! All 3 are a delight to be around, and will grow up to be super doggies like their loving Miracle Mom. Phyllis (the Poodle!)

Phyllis came from an abuse situation though you could never tell by her personality today. Phyllis is always happy, very loving, sweet and gentle, though tough enough to demand respect from our entire pack and very smart. Phyllis walks well on leash though does not need one as she stays near and obeys commands - oh, Phyllis also knows sit, down, dance and others! Phyllis is a super smart girl, HW negative, UTD with all shots, spayed, and though found with horrible matting, eye and ear infections, covered with fleas and ticks, today Phyllis is very healthy, just had a non-cancerous mammary growth removed, has dry eye (drops twice daily), has her fur growing back beautifully and Phyllis - though slightly impaired - both hears and sees well. Phyllis only needs her own Furever Home; and if you'd like a cute doggie to cuddle with, have a tight bond, always smile at her delightful antics, have your home lighted up by a delightful girl, well Phyllis would be perfect. If you are the one for Phyllis, you will be totally and loyally loved in return!

Lowerenergy level, small size, 5 yo, very loving, good with adults & loveskids, good with most dogs and cats, house-trained, healthy, great appetite, very positive personality, bonds closely and totally loves her family, people and doggies alike.

Phyllis has so much beautiful attitude, she loves to roll around the ground on her back making silly sounds; Phyllis knows lots of commands and cutesy tricks with her paws and makes the coolest noises and 'talks' especially with Mama; Phyllis is confident and not intimidated by bigger dogs; Phyllis will 'smile' if other doggies get too aggressive; Phyllis loves the other doggies, especially the little old blind and deaf pack she often hangs out with; Phyllis enjoys her bed and small open crate and will retreat there for a nap; a ton of positive attitude in a small body, fun and funny, smart and sassy, huggable and so very loveable and loving- Phyllis!

Georgia (pittie, pit bull)

Georgia - Baby G - is an unbelievably positive,3-legged sweet dynamo with a sad and interesting history: Georgia has been a bait dog then was marooned at a Florida 'sanctuary' where her job was "Dorm Mom" to a pack of adolescent, feral Siberian Husky and wolf-dogs. Our friend True begged us to take this special, extremely smartgirl and we are so glad we did.

Georgia is young and playful, a delight to watch playing soccer with her preferred metal food bowl! Georgia can play for hours though is just as comfortable resting and watching the world. Georgia is a totally loving girl, enjoys being petted and interacting with her humans. Georgia is totally healthy, Heartworm negative (yeah!),up-to-date on shots and preventatives, spayed and microchipped, walks wonderfully on leash, is house and crate trsined, and is a very aware smart girl.

Medium energy level (though loves vegging), medium thicksize, 2-3 yo, totally loving and affectionate; Georgia dislikes cats and is wary with dogs; understandable due to her past. excellent appetite and always, every time so happy!

Georgia Fun Facts: Georgia loves playing soccer with a metal food bowl and will do so both when alone and most anytime someone is coming; Georgia - though missing a front leg - even uses her head, her leg and shoulder combined and of course her mouth; often Georgia's face is covered with grass and/or dirt! She cleans herself well though and is always ready for loving. Georgia enjoys sleepy time and roots around getting her bed ready. Georgia would make a tremendous therapy or inspirational dog. Loving, happy, smart, sweet, fabulously muscular, truly inspirational - Georgia!
